Agriculture in the Classroom Curriculum Trainings

Workshop

Learn how to connect your existing curriculum with agriculture and infuse food and garden concepts into your lessons. Utilizing high-quality, hands-on agriculture lessons from across the country, these trainings will allow teachers to experience learning through agriculture and why it positively impacts student learning.

Trainings include:
  • CTLE professional development credit hours
  • Agriculturally accurate books for your classroom library
  • An experiential-learning based model for delivery
  • Kits, resources, and tools to teach the lessons

Virtual STEM Beef Experience
August 16-18, 2021

Learn how to bring STEM learning to life by building authentic learning experiences through food in this exciting beef-centric event. Virtually visit farms, processors, and chefs for live experiences, and conduct hands-on lessons from home.

Applications for this 3-day virtual educator professional development experience are due on June 1, 2021. Participating teachers will be eligible for up to 11 hours of CTLE credit.
